Pristine optics that are as sharp as one would need even at F2.8. The images produced have that authentic classic look 
Focusing is smooth throughout the range and aperture clicks are in full stops and are positively distinct
No dust/fungus 
Some scratches to the chroming on the collapsible barrel which is to be expected for a lens of this vintage
