This is the second iteration of the M8, featuring a slightly quieter, more efficient shutter than the previous M8, gorilla glass screen, and grippier leather. 
The M8 is famous for its outstanding CCD sensor which lacks an anti aliasing filter, allowing the M8 to produce truly stunning B&W images comparable to that of the Monochrom line of Leica cameras.
